Rocky Mount, NC

Campus expansion project delivering a new sanctuary and supporting spaces through a two-story addition to an existing church facility.

DETAILS

The project includes a 40,000 SF two-story addition designed to expand worship, education, and community spaces within the existing campus. Major components include a new sanctuary, preschool classrooms, office areas, and a multipurpose space to support a range of ministry and community functions.

Original stained-glass windows and the steeple were reclaimed and incorporated into the new design, preserving the history and character of the existing church while seamlessly embedded into the new addition. The addition was carefully planned and preserved to maintain continuity with the original architecture.

Work was completed within an active campus environment, requiring coordination of construction activities alongside ongoing church operations. The project enhances both the facility's capacity and long-term functionality while honoring its legacy.
