Culture

Guided by Our Values

At Myers & Chapman, our values aren't just words. They shape how we work, how we treat people, and how we make decisions every day. We believe in doing what is right, working together, giving our best effort, and finding solutions that move projects and relationships forward. Those principles have helped define our culture for more than 70 years and continue to guide the way we serve our clients, partners, and communities.

Investing in Our People

We believe people do their best work when they are trusted, supported, and given opportunities to grow. That's why we invest in professional development, mentorship, and long-term career growth at every stage of a person's career. Whether someone is new to the industry or an experienced leader, we want them to have the tools, support, and opportunities to reach their full potential.

Building Stronger Communities

Giving back is part of our culture and one of the ways we live out our values. As a local, relationship-driven company, we are invested in the people, schools, nonprofits, and neighborhoods that shape the communities we call home.

We build buildings, but we also care deeply about the communities those buildings serve. Supporting local organizations, investing in future talent, and being active in the places where we live and work are all part of what it means to be Myers & Chapman. It's about being a good partner, a good neighbor, and a company that contributes in ways that last.

By the Numbers

  • 1000 volunteer hours contributed annually
  • 70% employee participation in community initiatives
  • 20+ organizations supported annually

Supporting the Future of Construction

Supporting our communities also means supporting the future of our industry. We actively partner with educational institutions, workforce development programs, and industry organizations to help introduce future generations to careers in construction.

Through internships, career fairs, mentorship opportunities, industry involvement, and partnerships with organizations such as ROC and other educational programs, we help create pathways into the construction industry while contributing to its long-term growth and success. We believe sharing knowledge, creating opportunities, and investing in future talent strengthens not only our company, but the industry as a whole.

Community
in Action

Community involvement takes many forms at Myers & Chapman. Throughout the year, our employees participate in volunteer projects, fundraising efforts, donation drives, educational programs, community events, and workforce development initiatives.

Whether serving meals, supporting disaster relief efforts, volunteering with local nonprofits, collecting school supplies, mentoring students, or participating in community events, our team is committed to making a meaningful difference throughout the Carolinas.
