Charlotte, NC

An addition and renovation project that enhances an existing cathedral campus while preserving its architectural character and expanding functionality.

DETAILS

New construction of a chapel, expanded narthex with elevator access, and a covered canopy walkway, featuring prominent architectural elements designed to complement the church’s original 1950s structure. The 11,000+ SF building addition was constructed on a tight 60,000 SF site within an active, fully operational campus. In addition to new construction, targeted renovations were completed in multiple areas of the existing facility. The project was carefully phased to ensure the uninterrupted operation of all church functions, including their on-site preschool.
