Renovation and expansion supporting High Point Academy’s athletic program and campus improvements through the transformation of an existing warehouse into a new competition gymnasium and upgrades to academic and administrative spaces.

DETAILS

The project includes the complete renovation of an existing warehouse to create a 10,000 SF competition gymnasium, designed to support athletic programming and school events. The scope of work required extensive modifications to the existing structure to create a high-performance environment for student athletics.
In addition to the gymnasium, the project includes renovations to the existing dining hall, classrooms, and administrative spaces. These improvements were completed within an accelerated schedule, with significant work performed during the summer months to minimize disruption and ensure readiness for the academic year.

Through extensive preconstruction efforts and close coordination with the design team, the project achieved greater efficiency throughout construction, allowing it to be delivered under budget and on an aggressive schedule, returning savings to the school.
