With more than two decades of construction experience, Marcus Rabun leads Myers & Chapman with a clear focus on delivering a better construction experience. Since being named President and CEO in 2017 after advancing from Superintendent to Senior Vice President of Operations, he has helped shape a culture built on relationships, accountability, and continuous improvement.

As CEO, Marcus sets the vision that guides how Myers & Chapman serves its clients, partners, and employees. His transparent, relationship-driven leadership style reflects the company's commitment to collaboration and trust, shaping a culture that produces lasting partnerships and repeat business. He balances long-term vision with disciplined execution and dedication to developing people, fostering a culture where employees are empowered, engaged, and equipped to succeed together.

A strong believer in the power of collaboration, he founded the Charlotte Commercial Construction Coalition (4C) during the COVID-19 pandemic, bringing together more than 25 construction firms to address industry challenges and share information during a period of uncertainty. What began as a response to unprecedented conditions has evolved into an ongoing forum for workforce development, industry collaboration, and discussions around issues impacting the commercial construction industry throughout the Charlotte region.

His commitment to leadership extends beyond the construction industry. He serves on the Executive Committee, Board of Directors, and Land Development Committee for Habitat for Humanity of the Charlotte Region, is a member of the Board of Directors for TowneBank Charlotte, and actively participates in Young Presidents' Organization (YPO), a global network of business leaders dedicated to leadership development and the exchange of ideas. He is also a strong supporter of the Charlotte Rescue Mission.

Marcus earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and Contracting from Georgia Southern University, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and holds Unlimited Commercial Construction Licenses in North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia, Tennessee, and Georgia. His leadership has been recognized with the Charlotte Business Journal's 40 Under 40 and Most Admired CEO awards, as well as the Charlotte Ledger's 40 Over 40 recognition.

Outside of work, he enjoys spending time outdoors hunting, fishing, and clay shooting with family and friends. He lives in Lake Wylie, South Carolina, with his wife and daughter.
