With nearly three decades of construction experience, Jeremy Scharpenberg leads Myers & Chapman’s preconstruction efforts, providing strategic leadership for the teams, processes, and partnerships that help clients make informed decisions long before construction begins. His experience spanning estimating, design management, and project planning gives him a comprehensive understanding of how early decisions impact project success, allowing him to guide teams in delivering thoughtful, value-driven preconstruction services.
Jeremy plays an integral role in shaping the company’s preconstruction approach, ensuring estimating, design coordination, constructability reviews, and value analysis align with each client’s goals and vision. Under his leadership, the preconstruction team works closely with owners, architects, engineers, and trade partners to build alignment, manage risk, and create confidence throughout the planning process.
Beyond individual projects, Jeremy is dedicated to strengthening Myers & Chapman’s preconstruction capabilities through mentorship, continuous improvement, and team development. He is passionate about building future leaders and advancing the systems, tools, and partnerships that support exceptional client experiences and successful project delivery.
Jeremy lives in Fort Mill, South Carolina, with his three children and enjoys spending time with family, playing volleyball, and giving back to the community. He serves on the Board of WorkAbility, an organization dedicated to improving the lives and opportunities of adults with special needs.
Jeremy holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering & Management from Purdue University and completed the Executive Training Program at the University of Notre Dame’s Mendoza College of Business.
