Marcus Rabun
Chief Executive Officer/President
A 24-year construction industry veteran, Marcus Rabun is the CEO and President of Myers & Chapman. He assumed this role on June 1, 2017 after a decade of working his way through the company ranks from Superintendent to SVP of Operations. Previously, he spent six years with Centex Homes.
During COVID, when construction was deemed essential, Marcus created the Charlotte Commercial Construction Coalition (4C) making colleagues out of competitors so the industry could address pandemic challenges together. This group of 25+ companies still exists today, currently focused on industry issues such as workforce development and strengthening communications between the construction community and City officials.
In the community, Marcus serves on the board of directors and land development committee for Habitat Charlotte Region as well as the building committee for the Charlotte Rescue Mission's new dormitory building.
A native of Matthews, GA, Marcus earned a Bachelor of Science in Building Construction and Contracting with a minor in Business Administration from Georgia Southern University. He holds Unlimited Commercial Construction Licenses in NC, SC, VA, TN & GA, and is a LEED accredited professional.
The Charlotte Business Journal has recognized Marcus with the 40 Under 40 Award (2019) and The Most Admired CEO Award (2020). His hobbies include outdoor activities such as hunting, camping, fishing, and sporting clay shooting. He currently lives in Lake Wylie with his wife, Kate and daughter, Emily.
